BarlowGirl will also host their official CD release party for Love & War at Rock The Universe in Orlando, Florida on September 13th. Besides gearing up for the release of their new CD, BarlowGirl was in Sacramento, CA last week in support of Mercy Ministries’ new residential facility for young women. BarlowGirl performed a private acoustic concert for the local community that included several area churches. The structure will house forty girls who will receive spiritual, physical and emotional support from the ministry. The 22,000 square foot facility is in need of furnishings so BarlowGirl is teaming with Bed Bath and Beyond to help supply the things that are needed. Fans can access a gift registry on BarlowGirl’s website to donate items for the complex through December 2009.
